Who we are
WT Digital Consulting ("WTDC", "we", "us" or "our") provides SEO and AI search visibility, web development, data integration, reporting dashboards and related software. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect information when you visit wtdc.app or use our applications, dashboards and integrations (together, the "Services").

Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, book a call or become a client, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, company, job title, website and the content of your messages.
Information from your connected accounts
Some of our Services let you connect a Google account (or another platform account) so we can pull reporting data for you. When you do, we access only the data covered by the permissions you approve on the consent screen. The Google data we access is described in detail in the next section.
Information collected automatically
Our website does not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) for security and troubleshooting. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends a request to Google when you view them.
Signed-in areas of our Services may use strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in. They are not used for advertising.
Google user data
This section explains how our Services handle information we receive from Google APIs when you sign in with Google or connect a Google account.
What we access
We request the narrowest access we need to provide the feature you are using. Depending on which feature you connect, this can include:

| YouTube | Upload, manage and read analytics | Upload and manage videos on the channel you connect, and read that channel's analytics, only for the publishing work you have asked us to do. |
We also receive your basic Google profile information (name, email address and profile picture) when you sign in with Google, so we can identify your account.
How we use it
We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features you asked for, such as:
- Showing your search, website and business listing performance in reports and dashboards built for you.
- Comparing performance over time and flagging changes, issues or opportunities.
- Publishing or managing content on your behalf when you have asked us to.
- Keeping your connection working and fixing problems you report.
What we never do with it
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use or transfer Google user data to serve advertising, including retargeting, personalized or interest-based ads.
- We do not use Google user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- We do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
- We do not allow people to read your Google user data unless you have given us permission for specific data, it is needed for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), it is required to comply with the law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Limited Use disclosure
WT Digital Consulting's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
YouTube API Services
Where our Services use the YouTube API Services, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
How we use information
Apart from the Google-specific rules above, we use the information we hold to:
- Provide, run and support the Services you have engaged us for.
- Respond to your questions and requests.
- Send you service messages, such as reports, account notices and updates to these policies.
- Keep our Services secure and prevent misuse.
- Meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.
Storage and security
We protect information with measures that are appropriate for its sensitivity, including:
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for all connections to our Services and to Google.
- Access tokens stored in protected server-side configuration, never in public web pages or browser storage.
- Access limited to the people who need it to deliver your work, with strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available.
- Read-only access wherever a feature does not need to change anything.
No method of storing or sending data is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you without undue delay if a breach affects your data.
Retention and deletion
We keep information only for as long as we need it to provide the Services, or as required by law.
- Access tokens for connected accounts are kept while the connection is active and deleted when you disconnect, revoke access or end your engagement with us.
- Reporting data pulled from Google APIs is kept for the length of the engagement so we can show trends over time, and is deleted within 30 days after the engagement ends or after you ask us to delete it.
- Emails and business records may be kept longer where we are required to by tax or accounting rules.
To ask us to delete your data, email me[at]wesleetrout[dot]com. We will confirm once it is done.
Revoking access and your rights
You can remove our access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Once access is revoked we can no longer pull new data, and you can ask us to delete anything we already hold.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information.
- Object to or limit how we use your information.
- Withdraw consent you have given us, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
- Complain to your local data protection authority (in the Philippines, the National Privacy Commission).

International transfers
We are based in the Philippines and work with clients in several countries. Our service providers may store or process information in other countries, including the United States. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps to make sure it stays protected as described in this policy and as required by applicable law, including the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 and, where relevant, the EU and UK GDPR.
Children
Our Services are built for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and if the changes are significant we will tell active clients by email. We will not use Google user data in a new way without first asking for your consent.
